Haven’t posted in a while so here. I started to get into this good program called gamemaker, it’s free, so go and get it at gamemaker.nl And I made a very simple little game with it, see on the right, where it says Download Stickman Adventures, click there to get it And Enjoy

Story:
The poor citizen Michael Elders lives with his wife Laura in City 17, in a dirty flat.
His life isn’t very easy, the Combines raid from time time the quarter, there are no jobs and the people haven’t enough food.
That’s why Michael starts drinking and does nothing sensible at home.
But Laura doesn’t like Michaels behavior and tries to make her husband happier and suggests him to look for a job.
Michael agrees to her idea and goes to the next bar… where he meets two friends,  Alfred and Elliot. He finds them in a heavy discussion, because Eliott has the idea to join the Metropolice.
He suggests  Michael, to do the same, because the Combine reward their policeman very rich,  the members get more then enough food, they  have a lot
of priviliges, their familymembers are safe and they can have sex.
Elliot is very upset by this idea and wants Michael  to go with him to the next policestation… But Michael doesn’t know what to do…
He likes the advantages of Elliots  idea, but… he doesn’t know, wether this is the right way for him… 
When he arrives at home, he finds Laura weeping on  the couch. Michael asks her, what has happened  and she answers, that the neighbour familiy has been taken away by the police…
because they are anticizen… 
After this little drama Michaels knows, what he has to do, he knows, how he can save his beloved wife, how  he can survive in the rudness of the world…

What will be new in our mod?   

- we want to make new weapons like new  grenades, pistols, maybe manhacks and the snipergun                              
 
- dramatic cutscenes like in films

- realistic and interesting characters, who have a lot of feelings and thougts. They are not the typical cliche characters,
they all have their own purposes and their own way to reach them

- a lot of new models around the world of the Metropolice

- two new Metropolice types, the Comissar Elite and the Storm Division.
The Comissar Elites job is to coordinate the operations of the police and to find the betrayer in the own side… He is a never-tired hunter of the rebells and knows no mercy!
The Storm Divisions are heavier armored and better trained units within the Metropolice. They are loudless killers and are able to storm and capture every rebelbase, if it is in a city.

- the feeling of beeing a really metrocop (new hud animations, getting priviliges and climbing higher in  the Combine hierarchy)

- a lot of new sounds and own music        

- the mod will be available in german and in english

Characters:

 
Michael Elders:
Michael lives with his wife Laura in City 17, in a poor and dirty flat, like every other citizen in the city. 
His life is signed by violence from the Combine and the poverty, in which he lives, as long he can remember.
He thinks a lot of about his problems and his life, because he never gives up the hope to find a solution.
He loves his wife above all, she is the only treasure in his life, she is the only reason for him to live. Michael would do everything for her safety… everything…

Laura Elders:
Laura is a very strong and lovely woman. She loves her husband Michael very much, but she is annoyed by his beginning alcoholism and his depressions.
Laura works very hard in a factory, because Michael has no job. 
She is really optimistic, although their situation isn’t very hopefull. But she never gives up and is the mental support of Michael.
Laura doesn’t like the Combines, because they are so violent and cruel, but she never would join the rebellion, because she is very pacifistic.

Alfred the Barkeeper:
Alfred works in his little bar, where a lot of people go to.
He is a very good friend of Michael, he tries to help and togive him some good tips to survive in the rudness of the world. 
Alfred had in other times a wife, but she has been killed during a raid by the Police, that’s the reason why he hates the Combines above all, since that time he is a very big fan of democracy and freedom. That’s why he often says what he thinks, an attribute which is very dangerous in his world.
But fortunatelly the Combines still hasn’t noticed him…    

Elliot Averaz:
Elliot is another good friend of Michael, they see each other very often in the bar.
He is a little bit primitiv and egoistic.The first person, who is in his life, is himself, not his friends or his wife.
But he is also a friendly man, who likes to help the Elders. In this times he has like Michael no job, that’s why he is searching for one. 
In secret he is a very big fan of the Combine propaganda, he loves Dr. Breens speeches and he has a lot of respect from the Metropolice.
Because he thinks so, he often thought to report Alfred to the police, but he didn’t do it. Not yet…
And don’t flame their english because everyone else on the team is German.

Finally, Valve have made a Site for Portal! But it isn’t what you would have expected.

The site itself is very, very odd indeed. Basically it’s a terminal of some sort, à la DOS which consists of four main sections.

The first section is the login (unbeknowest to you the first time), as if you were trying to telnet into a machine. Here all you see is an command line interpreter. Anyway, after entering some random commands, I found (at least) 2 of them that did something: HELP and LOGIN. The primer doesn’t do anything except intrigue you. As for LOGIN, you’ll be asked for a typical username and password combo. Any username with 3 or more characters will do. As for the password, the only one that I’ve found that works is PORTAL.
The second section of the site is the OS itself, the GLaDOS v1.06 (c) 1982 Aperture Science, Inc. to be exact. Fortunately this time around using the HELP command will display a small list of available commands. All of them are completely useless (or down-right odd).

Previously you had to open the APPLY.EXE file but now that file is pointless to run unless you want to answer all the stupid question. Now you have to type THECAKEISALIE to take you to the fourth section.

 IF ANYONE DOES RUN THE APPLY.EXE FILE AND THEY THEY SEE SOMETHING GREEN FLASH ON THE SCREEN FOR A SPLIT SECOND HERE IS THE PICTURE THAT FLASHES ON THE SCREEN:

The fourth section is the most confusing of them all: apparently somebody else hacked (?) the terminal, leaving a message saying that the hardware is 20 years old among other things. (So what is this, 2002?) Anyway, you can also see a video feed in your screen with something peculiar in it. Pressing return (or any other key) switches your video feed/message to a to a spreadsheet (with a bill?) and vice versa.
